- Travel on bike through the forest or mountains/highlands: the ground is crowded and uneven, respectively. We do not care how good your character is at cycling, you are not allowed to ride a bike here.
- Fly at impossible speeds: it will take you 30-45 minutes to get across Roma, from coast to coast, if the weather is in your favor. It could take you an hour and a half to get across, it could take an hour. It depends on the weather; do not say that it took you 30 minutes in a storm!
- Assume all four sections of Roma are identical: Roma is a slightly malformed circle, and it is sliced into uneven strips. The forest is about 1/3 of the land, the grasslands 1/6, the wastelands 1/6, and the mountains/highlands are 1/3.
- Assume that the land is ideal for traveling: we already mentioned that most of the land can only be traveled on foot if you do not fly over it. It will take 2-3 hours to get across the forest or the mountains/highlands on foot if you are unfamiliar with the land, which you will all be at the beginning. It should not take any more than an hour and no less than thirty once you get used to it. The grasslands and wastelands are flat, with nearly nothing on them; it will take you 10-30 minutes to walk across, with 10 being you in a hurry and 30 is you taking your time.
What You Can Do:[/u]
- Use your pokemon to make it easier: you can ride them in flight, you can ride on them as they run, you can ride them as they swim; just remember your pokemon's size when doing this.
- Travel on a bike in the grasslands and wastelands: they are relatively flat and not much disrupts the ground, excluding the buildings in the wastelands. There is no reason that you cannot ride your bike here.
- You may use Dig to travel: and your pokemon does not need to know Dig. If your pokemon is capable of learning Dig and is of a reasonable size for you to hold onto to/ride, then you may travel subterraneanly. Please remember that you will get dirty, will not be able to see without a light, will probably need protective eye-coverings, et cetera.
